Ten green bottles....

I recently completed two commissions which brings the boozey bird series up to ten paintings. Each still life arrangement combines bottle, botanicals and birds with puns/alliterative titles, and patterned backgrounds. The collection continues to grow, and these are now all available as prints and cards.

A favourite bottle of gin with 5 goldcrests to represent the siblings who commissioned this for their sister's special bird-day.

Edinburgh Gin lists lavender, pine buds, mulberries, and cobnuts in their ingredients, which I've included in the botanical foreground, together with a Scottish thistle pattern in the background.

I love the blue on this one, and pleased to say it was well received...

"That looks amazing!! I’m so excited to see the real thing you have done a fabulous job... - I’m a huge fan. I can’t wait to send some more photos onto the rest of the family - I think we will all love it." CF

A favourite bottle and alliterative bird, the patterns influenced by the branding, and the foreground depicting key botanical ingredients (sea buckthorn, blueberry, rose) - Rock Rose Gin is described as a "zesty yet berryful" tipple

A great new addition to my #boozeybirds series and the client was pleased:

"I am happy to say that J was thrilled with the painting & equally surprised that it was specially commissioned. Lots of brownie points for me!" OW
